The expertise available with NHPC Limited has been tapped for setting up of Hydroelectric projects in neighboring countries. The 14.1 MW Devighat Project was completed by NHPC Limited in 1984 in record time of three and half years. NHPC Limited has also completed the Nuwakot Rural Electrification project in Nepal covering electrification of 64 villages along with substation and connected lines one year ahead of schedule. The corporation has recently completed works in Kurichu Kalpong Projects ahead of scheduled including Gelephu-Tintibi-Nanglam transmission line in Bhutan.
