600 MW SOLAR POWER PROJECT KHAVDA, GUJARAT (STAGE-II)( UNDER1000 MW CPSUS SCHEME )


Project Brief:
600 MW Solar Power Project at Khavda, Gujarat is being set up under Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (Govt. of India) CPSU Scheme, Phase-II, Tranche-III. NHPC is implementing the development of this project through EPC Contract for 600 MW Grid Connected Solar PV Project and transmission line for power evacuation to ISTS sub-station along with comprehensive O&M for 05 years. The power generated from this 600 MW project shall be evacuated through KPS-III ISTS Substation for use by Government/Government entities through sale of power of 500 MW to Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana & Northern Power Distribution Company of Telangana & 100 MW to Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) . Only domestically manufactured Cells & Modules shall be used for setting up of Solar Plant as per the provision of CPSU Scheme.
