Participant of State-Level Painting Competition Organized by NHPC Bags Second Prize at National Energy Conservation Day 2025
Smt. Droupadi Murmu, Hon’ble President of India presented the Second Prize of Rs. 50,000/- alongwith a Silver Medal and a Laptop to Master Stanzin Chosyangs, a student from Standard X of Druk Padma Karpo School, Shey, Leh, UT of Ladakh for his outstanding painting on energy conservation under Category “B”. The award recognizes his creativity, talent and awareness showcased at the National Level Painting Competition 2025 on Energy Conservation. Shri Pankaj Agarwal, Secretary (Power), Govt. of India and Shri Dhiraj Kumar Srivastava, DG, BEE were also present during the National Energy Conservation Day Awards Ceremony held in Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi on 14.12.2025.
Shri Bhupender Gupta, CMD, NHPC, while congratulating the winners for their exceptional talent and artistic excellence in effectively conveying the message of energy conservation, stated that NHPC takes pride in supporting young talent committed to promoting energy conservation and will continue to be an active partner in the National Awareness Campaign on Energy Conservation, conducted under the aegis of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Ministry of Power, Government of India.
Under the National Awareness Campaign on Energy Conservation launched by the Ministry of Power, Government of India, NHPC was entrusted the states/UTs of Arunachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Sikkim, Ladakh & Madhya Pradesh to organize School & State Level Painting Competition on Energy Conservation for the year 2025. NHPC successfully organised the school and state level painting competitions in the above states/UTs.
