ENERGY ARRANGEMENT
 

Generating stations of NHPC feed power at the Busbar of power stations to the concerned regional grids. The power is being transmitted to Bulk Power Consumer through the transmission system owned and operated by the Power Grid Corporation of India and State Electricity Boards in the respective regions. The Regional Electricity Boards (REBs) / Regional Power Committees and Regional Load Dispatch Centers who are the apex bodies designated for integrated  operation of power system and proper control and management of the Grid, further manages the transfer of power to the respective beneficiaries. The energy available for sale from above generating stations is billed to the Bulk Power Customers as per the energy accounts issued by respective Regional Electricity Boards / Regional Power Committees based on allocation of power from the Generating Stations to the Bulk Power Consumer as per instructions/allocation given by GOI from time to time. The terms and conditions of sale of energy by NHPC is governed by Bulk Power Supply Agreements/ Power Purchase Agreements signed/ being signed by NHPC with the beneficiary states/Bulk Power Consumers.
