1. The tenderers who down load the tender documents from the internet site www.nhpcindia.com would have to pay the cost of tender documents and submit its receipt in a separate envelope marked ‘Cost of tender document downloaded from Internet’.
2. Tender documents consisting of name of items, specifications, desired make to be supplied and the set of terms & conditions of contract to be complied with by the Contractor can be seen in the office of the Manager (P&C), Teesta-V Power Station, NHPC, P.O. Singtam, Sikkim – 737134 on any working day before tender submission date. Tender documents will be issued from office of Manager (P&C) on all working days w.e.f. 23/07/2010 to 09/08/2010 during office hours, on payment of cost of tender document (non refundable) by demand draft payable to NHPC Limited at Singtam. Complete Tender documents can also be downloaded from the site www.nhpcindia.com on payment of Rs.500/- online.
3. Tender documents requested by mail will be dispatched by registered/speed post on payment of an extra amount of Rs. 100/-. The authority inviting tenders will not be held responsible for the postal delay, if any, in the delivery of the documents or non-receipt of the same.
4. Receipt of applications for issue of tender document by post will be stopped from 1600 hrs., three days before the date fixed for opening of tenders. Sale of tender forms on the counter will be stopped three days before the date fixed for opening of tenders.
a) Tender documents must be delivered to the office issuing Tender document, on or before deadline for submission of Bids. If the office happens to be closed on the date of receipt of the bids as specified, the bids will be received on the next working day at the same time and venue.
b) Bids will be opened immediately after deadline for submission of bid in the same office.
5. Tenders must be accompanied by the earnest money of the amount specified for the work in the table.
6. The tender for the work shall remain open for acceptance for a period of one hundred twenty days from the date of opening of tenders. If any bidder/ tenderer withdraws his bid/ tender before the said period or makes any modifications in the terms and conditions of the bid, the said earnest money shall stand forfeited.
Employer reserves the right to cancel the tendering process at any time before award of Supply.
