NOTICE INVITING TENDER

1.     Uri – II H.E. Project, N H P C Limited invites Sealed tenders (2 Envelope system) from reputed manufacturer / Suppliers for the following: -

2.       The Tenderers, who down load the tender documents from the Internet site www.nhpcindia.com would have to pay the cost of tender documents online and submit its receipt in a separate envelope marked ‘Receipt for online payment towards cost of tender document downloaded from Internet’.

 

3.       Tender documents consisting of qualification information and eligibility criterion of Tenderers, Technical specifications, QAP, Price Schedules and the set of terms & conditions of contract to be complied with by the bidder can be seen in the office of the Senior Manager (Contracts & Procurement), Uri – II H.E. Project, NHPC Limited Rajarwani (J&K), during office hours from 10.00 AM to 5.00 PM on any working day before submission date. Tender documents will be issued from his office during the hours specified above, on payment of cost of tender document (non refundable) by demand draft/Banker’s Cheque of any nationalized/Scheduled Bank payable to ‘NHPC Ltd., Uri–II HE Project’, payable at ‘Uri.

 

4.   Two Envelope Bid procedures shall be adopted for preparation, submission and evaluation of the bids. The Bidder shall accordingly prepare and submit the bid in “Two separate sealed envelopes” containing the required documents and shall be received by the Sr. Manager (Civil) – Contracts & Procurement, Uri II HE Project, NHPC Ltd., Rajarwani, Tehsil- Uri, Baramulla - 193 123 (J&K) in his office up to the date and time given in above table.

               

        Sealed Envelope – I

        This envelope shall be super scribed as “Envelope –l: Techno- commercial Bid’. This envelope shall contain the following:-

 

i)         For bidding documents downloaded from the website, the receipt for the online payment towards cost of the bidding documents placed in a separate cover, marked “receipt for online payment towards cost of bidding document downloaded from the internet”;

ii)       Requisite Bid Security or a Notarized copy of valid certificate of registration issued by NSIC as per Clause 7.1 of ITB.

iii)      Copies of original documents defining the constitution or legal status, place of registration, and principal place of business; written power of attorney of the signatory of the Bid to commit the Bidder

iv)      Past experience as per Annexure-III of ITB.

v)        Bid Performa duly filled in & signed as per Annexure-IV of ITB.

vi)      copy of PAN Card

vii)     copy of EPF Registration Code

iv)  ‘Un-priced schedule of Quantities & Prices’ same as mentioned in Price-Bid (envelope-II) but to mention ‘Quoted’ in each column.

v)  Documents covering the relevant technical data, Delivery Schedule, Terms of Payment, and other Terms and Conditions (both Commercial as well as Technical) as per the Bid specification (except price of the Goods and / service offered ).

 

vi)    Declaration regarding applicability of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprise 

        under MSMED Act, 2006 as per Annexure –V.

 

This envelope, as such, shall not contain any price information. The disclosure of any price information in this envelop shall render the bid as liable for rejection.     

  

                                                      Sealed Envelope – II

                                                              This envelope shall be superscribed as “ Envelope – II: Price Bid” and shall be strictly in conformity with the format enclosed to the Bid specification vide “Schedule of Quantities and Prices”.

    

       The sealed envelope – I, & II shall together constitute the complete Bid and shall be enclosed in an other envelope superscribed “Bid for Tender No.…………………..” due on……………….

 

5.        Tender documents are available for downloading at the site www.nhpcindia.com after online payment of requisite cost of tender document.

 

        Tender documents requested by mail will be dispatched by registered / speed post on payment of an extra amount of Rs. 100.00. The authority inviting tenders will not be held responsible for the postal delay, if any, in the delivery of documents. Issue of tender document by post will be stopped seven days before the date fixed for opening of tender.

 

6.     Tender documents must be delivered to the office issuing Tender document, on or before deadline for submission of Bids. If the office happens to be closed on the date of receipt of the bids as specified, the bids will be received on the next working day at the same time and venue.

 

7.       Tenders must be accompanied by the earnest money of amount specified for the work in the table.

 

8.       The tender for the work shall remain open for acceptance for a period of one hundred twenty days from the last date of receipt of tenders. If any bidder / tenderer withdraws his bid / tender before the said period or makes any modifications in the terms and conditions of the bid, the said earnest money shall stand forfeited.

 

9.       Employer reserve the right to cancel the tendering process at any time before award of work.
